Dolphin cadaver recovered along Ilocos Norte shoreline

BURGOS, Ilocos Norte (July 9, 2010) – Fisherfolks in this town recovered a dolphin cadaver along the seashore in Barangay Ablan Friday morning. Arthur Valente of the Fishery Section of Ilocos Norte Provincial Agriculture Office described the dead dolphin to be 10 feet long. He said that the dolphin might have died after it was seriously hurt when it was accidentally caught by fish net by the local fishermen.
